Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double-stroller, its folded size and weight are crucial factors to consider. When not in use, pick an infant stroller that is easy to maneuver and small in size. This will make it easier to store it in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and international roads.
The best lightweight strollers feature a light, intuitive fold and self-standing mechanism that helps lessen the burden on parents' bodies. Several also have a wide selection of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for the family who are always on the move. Compact and light weight, it has an easy one-handed fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension, as well as the multi-position reclining seats, allow for children to weigh up to 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids and a large storage basket and a 3-tiered canopy with windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud scored one of the lowest scores in our quality tests because it has a flimsy seat, made of hard plastic, and a design that is dated. It's also more expensive than other lightweight strollers which is why it's not a good choice when you're looking for an economical alternative.
It's not the lightest stroller but it comes with enough features to be worth considering. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to navigate on flat surfaces and it is able to jump over curbs with ease, unlike many other lightweight strollers that veer off course when trying to do the same thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee height and not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push it with your legs hanging in the air and it's not helping that it's not padded.
During our tests, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to open and set up. It's a little more difficult to close, however; you must slide a slider, and then press a large white button for it to collapse. This can be frustrating when you're trying to keep your children entertained while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a compact but deep storage basket. It can fit a large diaper bag. It's not the greatest width however, and you'll likely have to put something in to reach the back to take it out. The Cloud comes with an adult tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too narrow for larger cups or bottles.

Joovy Kooper X2

The Kooper X2 is an excellent option for parents looking for an easy-to-use double stroller that can carry two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and provide the same amount of headroom, allowing children to sit side-by-side. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it offers a fully reclined seat, making it an ideal choice for napping. Its recline mechanism is simple to use but doesn't go completely flat. Children who are taller might find they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in the reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy, which we found to be better in blocking out sunlight than other strollers in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to easily navigate through door frames, which was a big issue for us with other models in our testing. It folds up quickly, and its handlebars are close to the ground, making it easy carrying. Its only drawback is the small storage space. When it is full of toys for kids it can feel cramped.

We also assessed the durability and strength of the stroller, as well as whether each model has a tray for parents that can accommodate both child trays.
